I’m letting you go not because I want to
but because I was faced with a lot of reasons why I HAD to

I want to see you freely liking other girls„,without the fear of hearing my rants

I want to see you going through every single day
without me ruining it with my nags

I want to see you happier with your lifewithout me living to ruin it

This may actually be pointless
Coz probably you’re normally happy with or without me

But just give me this last illusion that I somehow had an effect on you

I’m settign you free not because I don’t love you anymore
not because I dont need you any longer
not because I don’t want you at all

but because you asked me to

and I saw in your eyes
how much you wanted me to

Even if it hurts so much

I’d still do things your way

then I’ll go on and fake a smile

and it’ll be easy

coz this relationship was unreal from the start

and so I will just carry on 

until the day I will then again feel

how it’s like to live in a real world again
